The world’s second largest economy, a strong rebound in the hotel and tourism market, and a relatively low hotel chain rate—many factors are attracting international hotel brands to enter the market. At present, international hotel groups are actively expanding into the Greater China market, including but not limited to introducing new brands, upgrading strategies, and accelerating the development of the Chinese market. On May 24, Hilton Group announced the introduction of two unique brands in major segments in Greater China, namely the lifestyle brand Motto by Hilton and the high-end full-service hotel brand Signia by Hilton. The first hotels will be located in Hong Kong and Chengdu respectively.
